Our pet cremator is the only one of its kind in New Zealand.
It has three separate chambers which guarantees each pet is cremated privately with no co-mingling of remains. This means that you can be 100% confident the cremains (ashes) returned to you are those of your loved pet.
Some cremation services identify each pet by a number as a way of tracking them throughout the cremation process. We prefer to complete your pet'sfinal journey using their name to identify them, and our unique three chambered truly individual cremator allows for this to happen.
We work closely with all the Veterinary Clinics in the greater Hawke's Bay and Gisborne Regions. We have been providing a pet cremation service in the Hawke's Bay for over seven years, having purchased an existing pet cremation business that had been operating for 18 years.
We can also offer a private service by arrangement which includes personal collection of your pet from your home, and return of your pet's cremains in an urn of your choice.

We believe every pet owner deserves peace of mind in knowing the ashes returned to them are 100% those of their much loved family member. That is why we provide Private Cremation as our standard service, at no extra cost.
Our purpose built cremator has three separate chambers which ensures your pet is cremated on its own, with no co-mingling of remains. This is termed 'Private Cremation' and means you can be 100% confident the remains (ashes) returned to you are those of your loved pet.
Most other cremators in New Zealand have a large single chamber in which multiple pets are placed, separated by distance and/or bricks. This is termed 'Individual Cremation'

Collection of your pet
We understand the difficulties associated with the passing of a much loved pet. Our job at Journey's End is to make the process easier for you. We can collect your pet from your veterinary clinic or your home, or you may prefer to bring your pet to us yourself.
As we work closely with all veterinary clinics in the greater Hawke's Bay and Gisborne regions, your veterinarian can arrange collection, or if you prefer you can contact us directly if you would like your pet collected from your home.
We are available to assist you 7 days a week.
